I'd like to see some research on how one-on-one coaching affects course completion rates for students enrolled in developmental math and English courses.
Since Erin's college does the whole "cohort" thing, do they also do this kind of personalized coaching? And do they offer developmental courses? It makes sense to me that the personalized coaching can be effective. . .since the only reason I get out of bed to go to the gym is because my personal trainer will be SOOOOO disappointed if I don't go! :)
